Quebec City – the second-oldest existing European settlement in Canada lies on the Saint Lawrence River. Divided into two sections, the walled Old Town is reminiscent of many older European cities, full of historic churches, ramparts and narrow winding cobbled streets and allyways. In contrast the Lower Town has distinctly modern vibe and is packed with cool clubs, restaurants and bars.
Vieux Quebec - The only fortified city in North America, this area was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1985.
Musée du Québec - This art gallery is home to a fine collection of Québecois art including works by Dallaire, Riopelle, Borduas, and Leduc, as well as various international sculptures, paintings, and ceramics.
Château Frontenac - Named after Louis de Baude, Comte de Frontenac, a 17th-century governor of New France, this stunning towering chateau-style hotel with dormer windows was built between 1893 and 1924.
Basilique-Cathédrale Notre-Dame - Parts of this, the city’s main Catholic Cathedral date back to its original 1647 structure although it has suffered partial demolition and subsequent reconstruction and restoration since then. The interior decorated in neo-Baroque style is worth a particular look.
Place Royale - This picturesque plaza is the heart and soul of Basse-Ville. It is a popular location for concerts, folk dances and other festive activities.

Nestled in the foothills of Alberta’s majestic Rocky Mountains, the Canadian city of Calgary rises up from the banks of the Bow River. The nearby mountain resorts make it a favourite destination for winter sports and more recently, Calgary has become a popular destination for ecotourism.
Every July the city celebrates its cattle ranching origins, by hosting The Calgary Derby – a veritable cowboy carnival.
Heritage Park - This historical village replicates the Western Canadian settlements that developed in the 1800's. Make sure to take a ride on the authentic steam locomotive.
Calgary Tower - Take in an aerial view of the city against the back drop of The Rocky Mountains from this 626-ft, scepter-shaped tower which is also home to the city’s observatory and planetarium. This famous tower was home to the Olympic flame in the 1988 Winter Olympics.
Saddledome and Stampede Park - Home to the famous rodeo the Calgary Stampede which is held here every July.
Eau Claire Market - This colourful street market sells food and handicrafts and is a great spot for shopping.
Calgary Zoo - The city zoo offers the chance to see over 1,400 animals in replicated endangered ecosystems. You'll also be able to enjoy a Botanical Garden and Prehistoric Park.
1988 Canada Olympic Park - Situated at the gateway to the Rockies, the park is a great way to experience Olympic dreams and history. There's an Olympic Hall of Fame and Museum, the Ice House and Ski Jump Complex. You can also experience the luge!
